And a bright Seahawks-blue margarita with a lime-green garnish sure is hard to resist. In honor of the Seahawks' run to Detroit, we've compiled a selection of special celebratory drinks available at local bars and eateries: The Place: Elliott's Oyster House, 1201 Alaskan Way, Pier 56, Seattle, 206-623-4340. ($7.50) Quote: "The Curaçao is a little bit sweeter, and it's a nice complement to the tequila. ... For people that don't necessarily like the sharpness of tequila and lime, it takes that edge off." — Dane Addison, manager 12th Man Margarita 13/4 ounces Cuervo Gold tequila 3/4 ounce Blue Curaçao Sweet and Sour Two lime halves
The Shaun Alexander The Place: McCormick's Fish House & Bar, 722 Fourth Ave., Seattle, 206-682-3900. ($6.75) Quote: "We took the Brandy Alexander and gave it a twist. ... We took out the crème de cacao and added the Blue Curaçao and an orange, to make it sweet." — Kirsten Erickson, general manager The Shaun Alexander 1 ½ ounces Brandy 1 ounce Blue Curaçao 1/2 ounce fresh squeezed orange juice 1 sugar cube Shake all ingredients and serve over ice. Top with 1 ounce of cream. The 21-Year Martini The Place: Metropolitan Grill, 820 Second Ave., Seattle, 206-624-3287. ($12.95) Quote: "Because 21 years is the age of the Glenlivet scotch and how long it's been since we've been [won] in the playoffs as well." — Casey DeLoach, bartender The 21-Year Martini 2 ½ ounces Stoli gold vodka 1/2 ounce The Glenlivet 21-year archive Scotch whisky Orange peel garnish Combine vodka and Scotch whisky with ice in a shaker. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with orange. The Blitz The Place: McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant, 1103 First Ave., Seattle, 206-623-5500. ($8) Quote: "It represents blitzing the quarterback, which is what we've done all season. Then it's the name of our mascot, who's a rock star. ...
