The Fund For The Needy | Seattle Times Fund For The Needy offers opportunity to give
The Seattle Times today opens its 31st annual Fund For The Needy campaign. The two-month drive, which collected a record $668,183 last year, comes as social-service agencies are squeezed between increased need and sharp cutbacks in donor support and government assistance.

Who We Are
Since 1979, we have helped meet the needs of some of the most vulnerable members in our community — children, families and seniors. For 30 years, our readers have donated more than $12.4 million to this cause, 100 percent of which goes directly to local agencies who address critical community needs.
Make A Change For The Better
The Fund For The Needy provides support to 13 local nonprofit agencies specializing in preventative and remedial services to families and individuals at risk. Our shared goal is to help our community become strong and independent. With your donation, thousands of people will have an opportunity to make a change for the better.
