Winehouse hospitalized
British singer Amy Winehouse, 25, is back in the hospital, for dehydration this time. The "Rehab" songstress noted for her battles with drugs fainted while "running around" with kids in St. Lucia and was admitted for tests and treatment, publicist Chris Goodman said. "They told her that she was dehydrated and needed to drink more water," he said. Winehouse has been vacationing on the Caribbean island and is scheduled to perform at the St. Lucia Jazz Festival this week. Last week, she won a court order banning the paparazzi from pursuing her outside her North London home.
Orphan's "dad" speaks
James Kambewa, who claims to be the father of Chifundo "Mercy" James, an African girl Madonna hopes to adopt, said he wants to take care of his daughter himself, even though he's never met her. Kambewa said he doesn't want the pop star to adopt the 4-year-old. "I want to take care of her, and I'm capable to take care of my baby," he told "The Early Show" in an interview to be aired Monday. Madonna spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg said in an e-mail that she doesn't know if Kambewa is the father of the girl, who lives in an orphanage. Madonna's appeal of a ruling denying her request to adopt the girl is to be heard Monday in Malawi, in southeast Africa.
