A list of New Year's Eve festivities for every taste
Seattle and the Eastside ring in the new year with rock, jazz, comedy, classical music, theater — and a slew of big bashes.
New Year's Eve. Some like it straight up: loud and crowded. Some like it on ice: cool and mellow. Whatever your preference, there's a party around town ready to serve it up. This list includes concerts, comedy shows and cultural pursuits for all tastes. But bear in mind it's not exhaustive. Almost every nightclub in town will be thumping tonight: Go to www.seattletimes.com/listings for the full lineup. Also remember to call ahead, because some concerts and shows may be sold out.
