Schwarzenegger injured
California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, 61, pulled out of an environmental conference Saturday in South Lake Tahoe, Calif., to have his knee examined after injuring himself while exercising. He had been scheduled to co-host a climate-change summit, but Sen. Dianne Feinstein told the crowd Saturday that Schwarzenegger had called her to say he couldn't make it. Schwarzenegger tore cartilage in his knee several weeks ago while working out, a spokesman said, and it had been bothering him.
Stallone gets vodka deal
Sylvester Stallone has signed a deal to shill for a brand of Russian vodka called Russian Ice for an estimated $1 million. "The advertising-campaign concept was based on the fact that the actor has ... roots" in what used to be Soviet territory, the drink company Synergy said, referring to Sly's great-grandma Rosa Rabinovich, from the Ukrainian town of Odessa.
Leto, his band sued
Fans of 30 Seconds to Mars aren't the only ones who want more of the band's music. Virgin Records has sued the group for $30 million, saying it has failed to deliver. Virgin Records sued the band and front man Jared Leto in Los Angeles on Friday, claiming they refused to deliver three albums as required by its contract. The band's last album, "A Beautiful Lie," was released in 2005. A publicist for Leto did not return a message. Despite the absence of a new album, the band's "From Yesterday" was deemed one of 2007's Top 10 "Hot Modern Rock Songs" by Billboard magazine.
