Bonding for 007
Alicia Keys and Jack White have recorded the theme song for the new James Bond film, "Quantum of Solace," producers said Wednesday. The R&B singer and White Stripes frontman have teamed up for "Another Way to Die," the first duet to be chosen for the film due out in Britain on Oct. 31 and around the world in November. Previous Bond themes have been performed by the likes of Paul McCartney, Duran Duran and Madonna.
Other Alicia news:
Philip Morris International has pulled down billboards and posters promoting an Alicia Keys concert Thursday in Indonesia's capital after the singer protested the cigarette company's sponsorship. In a letter released by her record company, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, she said: "I am an unyielding advocate for the well-being of children around the world and do not condone or endorse smoking."
