Jaguar Love, a new band with Blood Brothers members Johnny Whitney and Cody Votolato, and Pretty Girls Make Graves' J. Clark, plays Fremont's Nectar Lounge tonight.
The once-promising Blood Brothers are on hiatus, and there's a chance the Seattle screamo band is done for good. Whitney and Votolato are pressing on with Jaguar Love, which has a blues-punk vibe, and at times sounds like Queen jamming with Guns N' Roses. (A few demos are posted at myspace.com/jaguarloveband).
Jaguar Love opens for U.K. electro/new-wave act New Young Pony Club at 9 tonight at Nectar Lounge, 412 N. 36th St., Seattle; $15 (206-632-2020 or www.nectarlounge.com).
After a brief tour, Jaguar Love returns to Seattle on Dec. 18, opening for Queens of the Stone Age.
