Orlando Bloom OK after minor crash

LOS ANGELES — Orlando Bloom was involved in a minor car crash on a Hollywood street early Friday morning, police said.

Witnesses told police the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star was driving alone on Fountain Avenue when another vehicle cut him off and he hit a parked car, said Officer Ana Aguirre.

Bloom, 30, wasn't injured and filed a report with police, Aguirre said.

"No alcohol was involved, and he wasn't speeding," Aguirre said.

The British actor made seven Bond films, starting with "Live and Let Die" in 1973 and ending 12 years later with "A View to a Kill."

Moore has also raised funds for UNICEF in underdeveloped countries and received a Commander of the British Empire award from the British government in 1999. He also was awarded a knighthood in 2003 for his work with UNICEF.

NEW YORK — Drew Carey has finally found Ms. Right.

Carey, the new host of "The Price Is Right," got engaged to Nicole Jaracz, a recent graduate of culinary school, on Tuesday, said his spokeswoman, Christina Papadopoulos.

"It will be the first marriage for both. No date for a wedding has been set yet," said Papadopoulos.

Carey, 49, will debut as host of the CBS game show on Monday. In a recent interview, Carey called "The Price Is Right" the perfect gig.

"It's like meeting the right girl," he said. "This is a really good fit. I'm really comfortable here and it seems like I should have been doing this a long time ago."
