Owen Wilson hospitalized | Hogan's son in crash | More "South Park"

Hulk Hogan's son was released from the hospital Monday, a day after a car crash that critically injured his passenger.

SANTA MONICA, Calif. — Owen Wilson was reported in good condition Monday, a day after he was taken from his home by ambulance, a hospital spokeswoman said.

"I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time," the "Wedding Crashers" star said in a statement.

Wilson, 38, was at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, said a hospital spokeswoman.

Santa Monica Fire Battalion Chief Jose Torres wouldn't comment on Wilson's injuries or condition.

Hogan's son in high-speed crash

CLEARWATER, Fla. — Hulk Hogan's son was released from the hospital Monday, a day after a car crash that critically injured his passenger.

A Toyota Supra driven by Hogan's 17-year-old son, Nick Bollea, was traveling at high speed around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, a police spokesman said. Bollea lost control and hit a raised median. The car flipped around, and the back end hit a palm tree.

Alcohol isn't believed to have played a part in the crash, which remains under investigation.

3 more seasons for "South Park"

HOLLYWOOD — As the "The Simpsons" keeps going on Fox, so too, on cable, does "South Park." Comedy Central not only ordered three more seasons Monday but also announced a joint venture with creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone to create South Park Digital Studios.

The operation will produce "digital extensions" of the 10-year-old "South Park" and also will develop new animation projects.

ALSO: Former President Clinton will appear on Oprah Winfrey's show Sept. 4 to promote "Giving," a book on philanthropy and civic action coming out the same day. Other Clinton stops next week include "Larry King Live" on CNN.
