You no doubt know Sir Anthony Hopkins from his icy precision as Hannibal Lecter in "The Silence of the Lambs" or his stoic perfection as Stevens the butler in "The Remains of the Day." But tonight, the Seattle International Film Festival provides an opportunity to meet Sir Anthony Hopkins, the filmmaker.
"Slipstream," an experimental feature directed by, written by and starring Hopkins, screens at 7 tonight at SIFF Cinema (repeating at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Egyptian). Hopkins will be on hand tonight to introduce the film. At 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, he will be present for a special screening of "The Remains of the Day" at the Egyptian.
Advance tickets for tonight are sold out, but rush tickets may be available.
