Campaign outfit: Police uniforms; stylish L.A. fashion. Polling: The busiest campaigner among the candidates; rising fast in the polls.
Slogan: "We cannot defend freedom abroad by deserting it at home." Campaign outfit: Black-and-white suits, accessorized by cigarettes. Polling: Well-respected, yet trailing the leaders. Could surprise. "Capote" Slogan: "It's as if Perry and I grew up in the same house. He stood up and went out the back door while I went out the front." Campaign outfit: Camel's-hair coat, topped with a wool scarf from Bergdorf's. Polling: A talented upstart, but needs to pay more dues. Unlikely to win. "Munich" Slogan: "Forget peace for now."
