Weeks after Consolidated Works' founding director Matthew Richter was fired, the players are still trying to set the record straight about what happened. Most recently, ConWorks' film curator, Adam Hart, objected to a statement made by board president Robb Krieg in a Seattle Times story Thursday. Krieg had told The Times, "There was not a mass exodus of staff," after Richter was dismissed in February. Krieg listed Hart among three employees, including the office manager and bar manager, who remained with the arts organization. Hart disagreed. "There was a mass exodus," he said. "I resigned before the ['Revolution' film] series started and explained to Robb that I would finish out the series, which ends March 26." Hart also said that there was no office manager before Richter's dismissal and that the bar manager only works occasionally on a contract basis. Krieg admitted that Hart had given his resignation. "The conversation I had with Adam is that he intends to step down at the end of the current series. Adam is still with us," he said. "And I didn't mean to allude that [the office manager] was here when Matt was." The bar manager, he agreed, is not a regular employee. Sheila Farr: sfarr@seattletimes.com
