Friday, February 13, 2004 - Page updated at 12:00 A.M. 'The End' chooses new morning host
Two months after its back-to-basics format shake-up, alternative radio KNDD (107.7 FM) "The End" has finally gotten a new morning host. He was already there: DJ "No Name," The End's afternoon jock and a listener favorite. No Name (they really won't give his name) starts the 6-10 a.m. shift Feb. 23. He replaces the Marconi show, which itself replaced Andy Savage. No word on who will fill No Name's afternoon slot. In a statement, No Name suggests he won't be following in the footsteps of Savage, whose new show starts in April on alt rival KYPT (96.5) "K-Rock." No Name's pledge: "No show-prep services, no rigged phone calls, no D-list actresses hawking their latest cable show and no drinking bodily fluids for concert tickets." Mark Rahner
