Nonprofit names new president

The Alliance for Education, a nonprofit that supports Seattle Public Schools, has named Sara Morris as its new president and chief executive officer.

The Alliance for Education, a nonprofit that supports Seattle Public Schools, has named Sara Morris as its new president and chief executive officer. Morris has spent 17 years in marketing and communications. In 2005, she was a consultant to Seattle Public Schools, helping a high-profile citizens committee advise the district on improving academics and financial stability. She's also president of the board of the Technology Access Foundation, which runs after-school programs and recently opened a middle/high school in the Federal Way School District.
