Issaquah
A man told police he was robbed Monday while vacuuming his car at an Issaquah car wash.
The incident took place about 2 p.m. at a car wash in the 22100 block of Southeast 56th Street.
The victim said he was approached by two males, and one asked for money. The victim refused, police reported, and the man then grabbed the victim's necklace and an undetermined amount of cash.
The victim said the robbers left in a newer-model brown Chevrolet Impala with shiny rims, or wheels, and with a sticker in a window that read "Skateboarding is not a crime."
The victim described the robbers as Hispanic males, both 25 to 30 years old and about 5 feet 10 inches tall. One man wore a brown New York baseball hat with a pattern of major-league baseball logotypes on it, and a brown "South Pole" sweater-type crew-neck shirt, blue jeans and white shoes. The second was described as wearing a bright-blue Los Angeles baseball cap, also with major-league logos, and wearing a white short-sleeve shirt and green pants with side pockets.
Three other people also were seen in the car: a female and two white males.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Cmdr. Stan Conrad at 425-837-3200.

Climate change is topic of forum
The effects of climate change on local communities will be discussed at a forum scheduled Feb. 24 at Woodinville City Hall.
The forum will consider practical, environmentally sound strategies to respond to increased rain and flooding, such as occurred in the Puget Sound region over the past several months.
Speakers will include Lara Whitely Binder, from the University of Washington's Climate Impacts Group; Yosh Monzaki, the city of Woodinville's surface-water engineer; and David McDonald of Seattle Public Utilities, who will discuss low-impact stormwater mitigation.
The forum, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, is sponsored by 21 Acres, a nonprofit based in Woodinville.
Information is available from Brenda Vanderloop at 425-788-9846 or online at www.21acres.org.
