Bellevue crash injuries prove fatal

A 20-year-old Bellevue man died Sunday from injuries he received in a crash in Bellevue on Saturday night, Bellevue police spokesman Greg Grannis said.

The man was one of 11 people injured in the crash, in which a BMW and a Jeep collided at the intersection of 108th Avenue Northeast and Northeast Second Street at about 11:30 p.m., Grannis said.

Six people were sent to the hospital.

Police and prosecutors are investigating potential charges against the two drivers, Grannis said.

The BMW was northbound on 108th when it was struck on the driver's side by the eastbound Jeep, Grannis said.

Of those injured, five were in the BMW and six were in the Jeep, Grannis said. Police did not identify any of the people.
