Idol Confessions
It's corny, it's predictable, it's often ear-piercing, but many of us can't get enough of it. Yup, it's "American Idol."

"American Idol" Top 8 results show: Who will leave tonight?
Posted by Bob Payne
![]()
Tonight's "American Idol" Top 8 results show begins at 9 p.m. And the only singer I'd say is 100 percent safe tonight is, ironically, the one person many people never got to see because the show went late: Adam Lambert.
Lots of people are steamed that their DVR's cut off at 9:02 p.m., a good five minutes before the show actually ended, and before Lambert even took the stage. But that's where Youtube comes to the rescue: Search for his name there if you missed it last night. They ought to replay the whole performance again tonight.
Tonight's guest performers are Season 5 finalist Kellie Pickler (pictured) and rapper Flo Rida. I guess "Idol" likes to offer a range of genres, huh?
Time for a results prediction:
Who WILL be in the bottom three:
|
- Matt Giraud
- Allison Iraheta
Who should be: MacIntyre, Lil Rounds and Giraud
Who WILL be sent home: MacIntyre. Who SHOULD be sent home: MacIntyre.
Anoop Desai, Kris Allen and Danny Gokey are probably safe.
What's your prediction?
If you just can't wait ...
... for the results show to air here in the West, come join me for the spoiler live blog beginning at 9 p.m. Eastern, 6 p.m. Pacific.
