ANAHEIM, Calif. — Jared Stohl, a graduate of Marysville-Pilchuck High School, and T.J. Campbell scored 15 points each as Portland clobbered UCLA 74-47 Thursday night in the first round of the 76 Classic.

Portland, which plays in the West Coast Conference, has two consecutive victories over Pac-10 schools. The Pilots (4-0) beat Oregon 88-81 Saturday.

Portland plays No. 22 Minnesota of the Big Ten in the semifinals tonight.

Malcolm Lee scored 14 points for the Bruins (2-2), who lost by their biggest margin since a 79-48 setback to Oregon in 2003.

Stohl took five shots from the field — all three-pointers — and didn't miss.

Nik Raivio of Vancouver, Wash., added 13 points for the Pilots and teammate Luke Sikma of Bellevue had six points and a game-high seven rebounds.

Portland, a three-point underdog, made 11 of 19 threes and shot 54.2 percent overall (26 of 48).

Casey Mitchell scored a career-high 18 points as the Mountaineers (3-0) beat the 49ers (3-2) in the first round of the 76 Classic.

Skylar Diggins scored 21 points to help the Irish (4-0) beat the Aztecs (3-1) in the Paradise Jam in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, for coach Muffet McGraw's 500th victory at Notre Dame.

Pac-10 women

Rutgers 66, USC 51

Chelsey Lee had 15 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Scarlet Knights (3-2) past the Women of Troy (1-3) in the Paradise Jam.

USC's Ashley Corral of Vancouver, Wash., had game-high totals of 24 points and five assists.

• Late Wednesday, Gonzaga beat Cincinnati 61-59 in overtime to win the Maui Invitational title in Lahaina, Hawaii.

Gonzaga's Steven Gray, who is from Bainbridge Island, and Zags teammate Matt Bouldin were selected co-most valuable players of the three-day event.
