GRAND FORKS, N.D. — Mike Boxley scored a career-high 18 and the Seattle University men's basketball team reached the 20-win mark for the second time in three seasons with a 78-71 victory over Southern Illinois Edwardsville (10-19) on Saturday in the North Dakota Spring Thaw Tournament.
Boxley was 6 of 11 from the field and 6 of 6 from the free-throw line to lead Seattle into the championship game.
Seattle University (20-8) plays North Dakota, a 68-66 winner over South Dakota, for the title tonight.

The Redhawks (20-8) held off South Dakota in the Spring Thaw Tournament.
Seattle never trailed after taking a 3-2 lead.
Mercedes Alexander led Seattle U. with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Senior Chelsie Morrison scored 15 points.
Bridget Yoerger scored 15 for South Dakota (17-10).
Seattle U. plays North Dakota in today's championship game.
