College football two minute drill
Noteworthy
A 21-14 LOSS TO Northwestern left Michigan with eight losses for the first time in its 129-year history. The Wolverines (3-8, 2-5 Big Ten) have also lost five games in Ann Arbor, another school record. "If we can come out and beat O-State [Ohio State] that would clear everything up," Michigan senior Brandon Harrison said.
Saturday's Stars
Case Keenum, Houston: Threw for six TDs and ran for another in a 70-30 win over Tulsa.
Colt McCoy, Texas: Threw for 255 yards and two touchdowns. He improved to 30-7 as the Longhorns' starting quarterback, tying Vince Young for the most victories in school history.
By the Numbers
6 Maryland's victory over No. 17 North Carolina was its sixth straight over Top 25 teams.
30-4 Georgia improved to 30-4 in opposing teams' stadiums under coach Mark Richt.
