Sixth-seeded David Mangham of Seattle upset top seed Jesse Walter 3-6, 6-4, 6-0 on Sunday to win the men's open singles final of the Seattle City Open, played at the Amy Yee Tennis Center.

Walter, also of Seattle, was the defending champion.

In the women's open final, Edmonds' Ashley Anderson topped second-seeded Bettina Gehle of Seattle, 6-2, 6-3.

Walter and Max Manthou paired up to defeat Rob Condiotty and Brian Murphy 6-7, 7-6, 6-3 in the men's open doubles final, while the top-seeded women's team of Katherine Costain and Lisa Proctor Menti downed second-seeded Deborah Higa and Zuzana Brogdon 6-4, 6-1 in the final.

NHRA event wraps up in Kent

Tacoma's Mark Faul outran Will Kelly of Walla Walla for the Stock Eliminator victory on the final day of the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at Pacific Raceways in Kent.

Faul had a 10.844-second pass at 115.45 mph for the win.

Among other finals, Tom Manfred of Liberty Lake won a Super Street battle of Mustangs with Gerry Epp of Abbotsford, B.C., in 10.886 at 149.56 mph.

Soccer

Team Bosnia defeated Team Brazil 2-1 in the All Nations Cup title match at Starfire Sports Complex, winning the championship for the second time in the event's six-year history.

Team Romania beat Team Poland 2-1 in the third place game.

• The Crossfire Premier 92 girls team from Redmond fell 1-0 to the Arysl San Juan Spirits in the under-14 finals at the U.S. Youth Soccer Region IV Championships in Honolulu.
