The 16th-ranked Stanford baseball team scored three runs in the eighth inning to complete a comeback and likely end Washington's postseason chances with an 8-5 win Saturday at Husky Ballpark.

The Huskies led 4-2 in the eighth when Stanford rallied for its first lead. Cord Phelps and Joey August each had RBI singles, and Brent Milleville's sacrifice fly drove in Phelps to put the Cardinal on top 5-4. Stanford scored three more in the ninth.
Sean Meehan was 2 for 3 with three RBI for the Huskies.
