Also, Washington was recently selected as the West Regional site, one of four sites picked by the NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Committee. The NCAA tournament opens with first and second round games Dec. 4-6.

The Huskies will play in four tournaments before the start of Pac-10 Conference play on Sept. 26.

Washington opens the season with a two-day tournament in Bozeman, Mont., from Aug. 29-30. The Huskies then will host the Northwest Challenge Sept. 4-6. The UW will be joined at the tournament by Gonzaga, Boise State and Portland State.

The Huskies travel to the Rainbow Wahine Invitational from Sept. 11-13 at the University of Hawaii.

The final tournament is Sept. 18-19, and will be hosted by both the Huskies and Seattle University.
