Haughian, who entered the game as the Pac-10 strikeout leader with 99, got five more, but allowed eight runs on nine hits over six innings for the Huskies (31-20 overall, 10-11 Pac-10).

ASU (44-9, 15-6) scored five runs in the fourth. With one out, Ike Davis hit a pop to shallow right field. UW second baseman Bradley Boyer lost the ball in the sun and it fell for a double.
Catcher Petey Paramore followed with a single and Kiel Roling laced a double to left to score one. After a walk loaded the bases, the Sun Devils got a bunt single to bring home one runner, and a sacrifice bunt brought in another.
A two-run single from Ryan Sontag drove in two more to put ASU ahead 5-1, and UW never closed the gap.
ASU remained atop the Pac-10 standings.
