SPOKANE — Matt Bouldin poured ice down Jeremy Pargo's back in the Gonzaga locker room after the victory Saturday over UC Riverside.

It was perhaps the only time someone on the No. 14 Gonzaga team was cold all night.

Four players scored in double figures and the Bulldogs (3-0) shot 64 percent in the second half to trounce UC Riverside 84-48.

It was Gonzaga's third blowout victory in a row, and the Bulldogs are holding opponents to just 48 points a game.

"We sustained great effort the whole game," said Pargo, who scored 13 points.

The Zags allowed UC Riverside to get close only a couple of times in the first half before blowing the game open with a 25-5 run that buried the Highlanders (0-4).

Freshman Austin Daye scored 16 points to lead Gonzaga in scoring for the third consecutive game. Abdullahi Kuso added 13 points and freshman Robert Sacre 12 for a Gonzaga team that is showing depth even though star Josh Heytvelt is out with a foot injury. Ten different Zags scored.

Larry Cunningham led UC Riverside with 11 points. Sean Cunningham and Severin Gates added nine points each.

At No. 6 Louisville 104,

Coach Rick Pitino's pregame instructions to Louisville small forward Terrence Williams, a junior from Rainier Beach High, are always the same: Fill out the statistical box any way you can.

Williams recorded the third triple-double in school history with 14 points, 13 assists and 12 rebounds in the Cardinals' season opener.

"You can see what makes us go," Pitino said. "T-Will obviously passes the ball and makes everybody better."

Against the Hawks (1-3), he directed traffic around the perimeter and hit open teammates who were happy to contribute to Louisville's school-record 22 three-pointers.

Pitino spent the past two seasons trying get Williams — whom he considers the best athlete in college basketball — to buy into Louisville's system. Too often during his freshman and sophomore seasons, Williams would force the issue on both ends of the floor.

At No. 15 Texas A&M 85, Ouachita 59

Bryan Davis scored 15 points and freshman DeAndre Jordan had 12 points and 10 rebounds for his first double-double as the Aggies (4-0) beat the Tigers (0-1). Jordan also broke the Big 12 record for consecutive field goals made. He has made 16 in a row over the past four games.

At No. 22 Kansas State 77,

Freshman Michael Beasley scored 23 of his 28 points in the second half and had 22 rebounds as the Wildcats (3-0) survived a sloppy first half to beat the Leathernecks (1-2).

At No. 23 Southern Illinois 88,

Bryan Mullins scored 15 of his 16 points in the first half to help the Salukis (1-0) topple the Huskies (0-4).

No. 25 Butler 60, at Evansville 47

A.J. Graves scored 22 points to lead the Bulldogs (3-0) past the Aces (0-2).

WOMEN

At Gonzaga 93, Nevada 55

Heather Bowman recorded her fifth career double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds, and Tiffanie Shives, playing in her for game for Gonzaga, scored 17 points off the bench as the Bulldogs (2-0) routed the Wolf Pack (2-2).

NOTE

• Garfield High graduate Marcelus Kemp scored 16 of his 23 points in the second half to lead the Nevada men's team (2-1) to a 67-54 home victory over Santa Clara.
