ELLENSBURG — Meredith Teague scored a goal in each half as the No. 2-ranked Seattle Pacific women's soccer team downed Central Washington 3-1 Saturday.
The Falcons are off to their best start in program history at 17-0 overall and 11-0 in Great Northwest Athletic Conference play.
Teague opened the scoring in the 25th minute by putting a rebound past Central goalkeeper Amber Easterbrook.
Teague's second goal came in the 47th minute off Katie Taylor's left-side free kick from 35 yards.
Janae Godoy scored in the 62nd minute to finish off the scoring for SPU.
Michelle Beattie scored for the Wildcats (6-9-3, 3-7-1) in the 72nd minute.
Other women's soccer
Claire Morgan scored twice, leading Western Washington to a 4-0 victory over Northwest Nazarene in Bellingham. It was just the second win in the past six games for the Vikings (10-6-1, 5-5-1 GNAC).
Men's soccer
After breaking out to a 3-1 lead, Northwest University lost midfielder Kyle Veach to his second yellow card, played shorthanded for 9 minutes, 49 seconds and watched as Warner Pacific rallied for a 4-3 victory in Portland.
Trevor Uhler, Brandon Screen and Amos Freiheit each had a goal for the Eagles (5-10, 4-8 Cascade Conference).
Volleyball

Gonzaga dropped a hard-fought decision to host San Diego 25-30, 30-17, 18-30, 30-22, 15-12.
Heather Dunn posted her fifth straight double-double (56 assists, 15 digs) for the Bulldogs (15-8, 3-4 West Coast Conference).
• Seattle Pacific (11-9, 6-6 GNAC) hit .341 and used a 14-kill, 16-dig performance by Alyssa Given to record a 30-19, 30-18, 30-22 sweep of Western Oregon at the Royal Brougham Pavilion.
• Four Seattle University players earned at least nine kills as the Redhawks held off the Alaska Anchorage Seawolves 30-19, 29-31, 30-24, 32-30 at Connolly Center.
Nikole Thompson led Seattle (10-11, 7-6 GNAC) with 14 kills, three service aces and 12 defensive digs.
• JaNae Mortensen had five aces, and Eastern Washington (8-13, 7-3 Big Sky Conference) rallied for its seventh comeback victory of the season, topping Weber State 23-30, 30-25, 30-21, 30-24 in Ogden, Utah.
• Loni Evenson had 11 kills and 11 digs in Northwest Nazarene's 30-28, 30-23, 30-19 win over Saint Martin's (2-21, 2-11 GNAC) in Nampa, Idaho.
Golf
The Washington women shot 21-over 305 in the second round of the Stanford Intercollegiate in Palo Alto, Calif., to move into ninth place. Washington State shot 327 to stand 16th in the 18-team field.
Swimming
The Seattle University men defeated both Linfield (80-15) and Simon Fraser (53-42), while the Redhawks women beat Linfield (82-13) but lost to Simon Fraser (63-32) in a double-dual meet at the Connolly Center pool.
Cross country
The Western Washington men, ranked 11th, placed four runners in the top 10 and six in the top 20 to win the GNAC championship for the second straight time and for the third time in five years.
Western's Daniel Phillips was second in the 8,000-meter race in 25:05.96, and Bennett Grimes placed third in 25:09.03.
Seattle Pacific won the women's title for the third straight time. Jessica Pixler won for the second straight year, finishing in 20:53.48.
