Wake Forest: The major-bowl parade marches on with this clash of BCS newcomers. The 15th-ranked Demon Deacons, coached by Jim Grobe, won their first Atlantic Coast Conference championship since 1970. Wake Forest has 20 interceptions.

Louisville: QB Brian Brohm of the fifth-ranked Cardinals is likely to move the chains via WRs Mario Urrutia and Harry Douglas. Louisville CB William Gay has five picks.

Extra point: Wake Forest has played in two January games, beating South Carolina in the 1946 Gator Bowl and losing to Baylor in 1949 in the second of two Dixie Bowls played in Birmingham, Ala.
