The Bravern looks outside Seattle for coffee shop, Martinez reports

Posted by Melissa Allison

My colleague, Amy Martinez, reported this weekend on cupcakes, Lamborghinis and Nieman Marcus at the opening of Bellevue's newest mall mecca, The Shops at The Bravern.

One thing she didn't see on the front lines of shopping was a coffee shop to fuel the fashion-loving hordes.

Here's what she learned: "Dan Ivanoff, managing investment partner at Bravern developer Schnitzer West, said he hopes to change that. Besides being 'down the road' on a deal with a live-entertainment-based restaurant, Ivanoff said, The Bravern's leasing team is working to bring in a European-style café, 'like what you'd see in France.' He declined to name the cafe, saying only that it would be new to the Puget Sound region."

Any guesses about who that might be?
