Boeing said Friday that 50,622 non-executive, white-collar employees in Washington State will receive an estimated total of $235.8 million in an incentive bonus payout later this month.
Companywide, Boeing will pay out a total of $605.1 million to almost 110,000 employees in mid-February.
The bonus is calculated annually based on overall company and business-unit performance. Boeing announced the payout last week, but had not then estimated the precise value.
Commercial airplanes and defense-side employees will get 15 days of extra pay. Employees in the separate units covering corporate functions, IT and administrative support, as well as employees of the Boeing Capital airplane-financing unit, will get 16 extra days' pay.
Members of the Machinists union are not part of this incentive plan. However, the union's landmark agreement with Boeing in December set up a separate incentive plan that will begin in July.
