Skyway Luggage building sold for $2.1M
The Skyway Luggage building in Belltown has been sold as part of the company's receivership.
Music Group Services US, the sales and distribution arm of global audio-electronics company Behringer, has purchased the old Skyway Luggage building in Belltown and plans to move its office there from Bothell, the agent representing the buyer said.
Music Group paid $2.1 million for the three-story building at Western Avenue and Wall Street, according to county records.
Skyway Luggage, founded 102 years ago, in June was placed in receivership, an alternative to bankruptcy.
