ZymoGenetics said it has settled purported class-action lawsuits filed in King County Superior Court over its agreement to be acquired by Bristol-Myers Squibb.

In a regulatory filing, the Seattle biotechnology company said it had agreed to provide additional disclosures about the process of reaching a deal with Bristol-Myers. The companies also will pay $625,000 in legal fees and expenses for the litigation.

The settlement must be approved by the court and is contingent on the acquisition being completed.
