2009 CEO Pay | Top salaries
The median annual salary of 88 CEOs on the job in both 2008 and 2009 inched up 0.7 percent last year, to $492,734. Seventeen saw their salaries trimmed, while the salaries of 26 were unchanged. Four Northwest CEOs received salaries of more than $1 million, led by Nike's Mark Parker, but for all four the paychecks represented less than one-quarter of their total compensation. Here are the top five salaries for 2009.
