Strategic Hotels & Resorts names new CFO
Strategic Hotels & Resorts Inc. has named a new chief financial officer.

Strategic Hotels & Resorts Inc. has named a new chief financial officer.
The company - a real estate investment trust with properties in the U.S., Mexico and Europe - said James Mead's last day as CFO was March 8. Mead had served in that job since 2004.
His successor is Diane Morefield, who previously served as CFO of Equity International, a privately held real estate investment company.
The company's shares were unchanged in extended trading after the appointment was announced Tuesday.
They had gained 19 cents, or 5.4 percent, to close the regular trading session at $3.72.
