Appointments, promotions and awards in the business community.

Seattle area

Financial services: Corey Marx and Seth Heikkila were hired as vice presidents at Jones Lang LaSalle.

Health care: Daniel Evans was hired as director of decision support and payer relations at Northwest Kidney Centers. Steve McLean was appointed communications manager at Sound Mental Health.

Law: Bryan Case, Keith Seo and Shata Stucky joined Riddell Williams. Christopher Neal and John Fetters joined Mills Meyers Swartling, and Kasey Huebner became a shareholder in the firm. John Ridge was elected a partner of Stoel Rives.

Radio: Dennis McCormick was hired as local sales manager at Fisher Radio Seattle.

Web services: Rick DeCamp was appointed vice president of business development at Custom Toll Free.

Eastside

Solid-waste engineering: Kevin Lakey joined SCS Engineers, Bellevue.

Technology: Mark Jancola was appointed vice president of engineering and technical operations at Apptio, Bellevue.

Traffic, navigation services: Don Butler was hired as senior vice president of global marketing and product planning at Inrix, Kirkland.
