Man alert at scene after being shot in head

A man who was shot in the head Sunday afternoon in the 9000 block of Rainier Avenue South was alert and talking to officers at the scene, according to Seattle police.

A man who was shot in the head Sunday afternoon in the 9000 block of Rainier Avenue South was alert and talking to officers at the scene, according to Seattle Police Department spokesman Mark Jamieson.

Police received a call about the shooting around 4:20 p.m. Jamieson did not have an age for the victim.
