1st Security Bank will close its Seattle and Everett branches next March and consolidate them with its Lynnwood office, leaving it with six locations.

1st Security Bank said Monday it would close its Seattle and Everett branches next March and consolidate them with its Lynnwood office, leaving it with six locations.

The Mountlake Terrace-based bank also said it would renovate the Lynnwood office and replace its existing Puyallup branch with a new building at the same location; both projects are scheduled to be completed next year.

In September, 1st Security sold its Tacoma and Port Angeles branches to Sound Community Bank.

The bank had $268 million in assets as of Sept. 30.
