ZymoGenetics partner Bayer halts EU effort on drug
Bayer has withdrawn its application to market the ZymoGenetics drug Recothrom in Europe, the Seattle-based biotechnology company said Monday.
Bayer, which has exclusive rights to market Recothrom outside the United States, concluded the drug was unlikely to get approved without additional clinical trial data, ZymoGenetics said.
