October Auto Sales: Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi Motors North America said Tuesday its October sales tumbled, blaming a continued tough sales environment.
BY THE NUMBERS: Mitsubishi sales dropped 48.3 percent to 3,867 units from 7,486. For the first 10 months of the year, the automaker's U.S. sales fell 46.7 percent to 46,706 from 87,591.
THE DIVISIONS: Car sales decreased 43.8 percent to 3,183 units while truck sales dropped 62.5 percent to 684.
TOP SELLER: Sales of the Galant fell 50.7 percent to 1,595.
