Heads up: The Institute for Supply Management issues its monthly reports on the manufacturing sector Monday and the service sector Wednesday. Monthly updates on retail sales, worker productivity and labor costs are out Thursday, and on Friday are reports on consumer debt, wholesale trade and the U.S. jobless rate for October.
Thursday: The Northwest Multiple Listing Service releases home-sale statistics for October. Look to see if King County house sales increase over last year's number for a fifth straight month. ... Starbucks releases fourth-quarter earnings; it will discuss them in a 2 p.m. conference call at investor.starbucks.com.... Jones Soda discusses its third-quarter results in a 1:30 p.m. conference call at www.jonessoda.com/invest/index.php.... Bellevue-based Coinstar announces its third-quarter financials. A 2 p.m. conference call can be accessed at the investor-relations section of www.coinstar.com.... Seattle-based Internet jeweler Blue Nile discusses its third-quarter financial results in a 2 p.m. conference call at investor.bluenile.com. ... The Urban Land Institute releases its 2010 national commercial real-estate forecast. Last year's report ranked Seattle the No. 1 market.
