Zumiez agrees to settle California lawsuit for $1.3 million
Zumiez, an Everett action-sports apparel retailer, said today that it reached a tentative agreement to settle a class-action lawsuit in California for about $1.3 million.
Zumiez, an Everett action-sports apparel retailer, said today that it reached a tentative agreement to settle a class-action lawsuit in California for about $1.3 million.
The settlement, which is subject to court approval, will have an estimated impact on per-share earnings of about 3 cents, Zumiez said.
A former employee accused Zumiez in the lawsuit of not paying all the overtime it owed him, not providing meal breaks as required by California law, and not properly itemizing pay stubs, among other things.
