CEO Pay 2008 | Top salaries
Unlike many workers, CEOs often rely on something other than an annual salary for the bulk of their compensation, such as a combination of bonuses and equity awards.
Unlike many workers, CEOs often rely on something other than an annual salary for the bulk of their compensation, such as a combination of bonuses and equity awards. Even so, the median salary for Northwest CEOs in place for both 2007 and 2008 rose 7 percent last year to $431,250. Nike's Mark Parker received the largest salary: $1.38 million, up 10 percent from the previous year. Here are the top five salaries for 2008, including CEOs new to their jobs.
