Icicle Seafoods CEO set to retire, be succeeded by CFO

Icicle Seafoods' longtime CEO, Don Giles, will retire June 30 and be succeeded by Dennis Guhlke, who has been the seafood processing company's chief financial officer for at least a decade.

Giles has worked at Icicle for 36 years and became CEO in 1994. He will continue as an adviser for three years.

In the past year, Icicle has acquired Smoki Foods and the processing vessel Stellar Sea.

Icicle named Brenda Morris as Guhlke's successor in the job of chief financial officer. Morris most recently has been CFO and chief operating officer of online retailer iFloor and was CFO of retailer Zumiez.

Icicle's majority owner is equity capital firm Paine & Partners.
