Indianapolis financial services provider OneAmerica has cut 114 jobs and adjusted non-salary expenses because of the economy.

INDIANAPOLIS —

Indianapolis financial services provider OneAmerica has cut 114 jobs and adjusted non-salary expenses because of the economy.

Company CEO Dayton H. Molendorp says the moves will allow OneAmerica to remain "in a strong position despite the current financial environment."

Affected employees have been given severance packages and outplacement assistance.

The Indianapolis-based company offers life insurance, annuities, and retirement planning.
