Woman killed in Redmond crash
A woman was killed in a crash Saturday on Highway 202 in Redmond, after the car in which she was riding in struck a patch of water, spun into oncoming traffic and was hit by an SUV, according to Washington State Patrol.

A woman was killed in a crash Saturday on Highway 202 in Redmond, after the car in which she was riding in struck a patch of water, spun into oncoming traffic and was hit by an SUV, according to Washington State Patrol.
Five others were injured and taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. near Ames Lake Road when a 2000 Honda Civic heading east hydroplaned and slid across the highway perpendicular to westbound traffic.
A 2005 Kia Sedona traveling west with two adults and two children inside struck the Civic.
Gretchen Forsman, 32, a passenger in the Civic, died at the scene. David Forsman, 33, the driver, was taken to Harborview, where he was in serious condition Sunday.
Three of the four people in the Sedona were taken to Harborview, where they were all in satisfactory condition Sunday. The driver of the Sedona was identified as Caroline Robinson, 38, and the passengers were Brian Robinson, 35, and two children, ages 8 and 6.
The State Patrol listed the causes of the collision as weather and speed.
