TTM Technologies, a manufacturer of printed circuit boards, said Thursday it will close its Redmond plant, which has 374 full-time employees and 55 temporary employees.

TTM Technologies, a manufacturer of printed circuit boards, said Thursday it will close its Redmond plant, which has 374 full-time employees and 55 temporary employees.
The Santa Ana, Calif.-based company said it will also eliminate 140 jobs elsewhere.
TTM blamed the moves on weakened demand, and said shifting production later this quarter from the "underutilized Redmond facility" will improve efficiency at its other plants in California, Connecticut, Utah and Wisconsin.
The company said it expects the cuts to yield annual cost savings of between $20 million and $25 million.
