Seattle Times business reporter

Clean-tech startup 3Tier said today that it had raised $10 million from investors.

The money will help the Seattle company ramp up its international growth, a spokesman said in an e-mail. The money comes from Good Energies, a London-based investment group that focuses on alternative energy. The news was first reported in Tech Flash.

3Tier provides consultancy services and forecasting data for wind, hydroelectric and solar projects. The company is currently working to map potential locations for renewable energy projects across the globe.
