Construction: Phillip Goodman joined Skanska USA Building as vice president of business development.
Contractors: Annie Robinson and Lee Zulch were hired as project managers and Mike Toombs as a superintendent at Schuchart.
Engineering: Eric Vander Mey was named an associate principal and Ginette Chin was promoted to director of electrical engineering at Rushing.
Hotels: Sven-Erik Richter was appointed director of operations at The Fairmont Olympic Hotel.
Law: Claire Molesworth joined Graham & Dunn. Steve Block was elected president and chairman of the executive committee at Betts, Patterson & Mines.
Nonprofits: Katie Simons was named general manager at Talaris Institute.
Property management: Rick Drottz was appointed senior managing director at Kennedy Wilson Properties Northwest.
Restaurants: Mike Hillyer returned as executive chef at Daniel's Broiler, Lake Union.
Technology: Scott Milburn was named vice president of operations and general counsel at QL2.

Biotechnology: Barry Polisky was named chief scientific officer at MDRNA, Bothell.
Colleges: Dr. Sheryl Berman was named executive director of Bellevue Community College's Health Sciences, Education and Wellness Institute.
Engineering: Tim Reynolds was promoted to director of CB Engineers Bellevue office.
