Associations: John Guadnola, a partner in the Gordon, Thomas, Honeywell law firm, was named executive director for the Washington Beer & Wine Wholesalers Association.
Business support: Jennifer Kilgus was appointed administrator of Region X (Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska) for the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Catering: Nola Nevers was named director of catering sales and events at Herban Feast.
Colleges: Kent Devereaux was appointed chairman of the music department at Cornish College of the Arts.
Education services: Christine Chew was named executive director at College Access Now.
Emergency preparedness: Pete Ochinko was appointed vice president of security and risk-prevention solutions at Prepared Response.
Engineering: Juliane Fleetwood was hired as director of marketing and client services at Rushing.
Health care: Dr. Michael Williams, Dr. Michael Sutters and Dr. Robert Lu Hsiung were hired at Virginia Mason Medical Center.
Hospitality: Riccardo Marossa was hired by Columbia Hospitality as director of sales for the WaMu Leadership Center at Cedarbrook, SeaTac.
Human services: Christina Merhar was hired as development and community-relations manager at the Crisis Clinic.
Information technology: Robert Williamson was hired as operations manager at Entrance Controls.
