Entellium wipes out references on Web site to ex-execs Paul Johnston, Parrish Jones

Entellium removed references on its Web site to Chief Executive Paul Johnston and Senior Vice President Parrish Jones, who abruptly resigned from the Seattle software company.

Following the abrupt departure of its chief executive and its head of finance, Seattle software company Entellium removed any reference to the two executives from its Web site, including a blog written by the CEO and a description of the management team.

Chief Executive Paul Johnston and Senior Vice President Parrish Jones "have resigned from the company, effective immediately," the company said late Wednesday.

"The board is working closely with the leadership team to determine the company's course of action," Entellium spokeswoman Heather Van Schoiack said in a statement.

Entellium did not disclose details of the departures. Johnston was CEO and co-founder and Jones head of finance and operations. The executive team also includes Roland Hor, vice president of product and technology. Hor's biography was also removed from the Web site.

Founded in 2000, the private company makes customer relationship management software for small businesses.

Johnston moved the company headquarters to Seattle from Malaysia in 2003. It has raised more than $30 million in venture capital, with backers including Ignition Partners and Sigma Partners. Entellium maintains a research and development office in Kuala Lumpur.

With almost 200 employees worldwide, the company was growing rapidly and attempting to take on competitors such as Salesforce.com. However, it had two rounds of layoffs earlier this year.
