Poll workers wanted
King County Elections is looking for nearly 4,000 poll workers to work throughout the county Nov. 4.
Poll workers work from 6 a.m. until closing, around 10 p.m., and are responsible for opening and closing the polls and issuing ballots to voters. Workers receive a three-hour, paid training before Election Day and will earn around $125 for their service Nov. 4.
Bilingual poll workers are especially needed to provide language assistance to Chinese voters with limited English proficiency.
